Betty Leung
Enthusiastic home chef Betty Leung learned how to cook by watching celebrity culinary shows hosted by people like Ina Garten, Martin Yan, and Rachel Ray. Since then, Betty Leung has mastered the art of making dishes like ginger chicken, meatloaf, and beef burgundy, as well as rich desserts such as lemon zest cheesecake—a staple for her family at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Outside of her interest in cooking, Ms. Leung is a frequent traveler who has explored many cities across the United States and Canada. During her travels, she has visited many popular landmarks, including Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California, Niagara Falls in New York State, and the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada. Additionally, Ms. Leung has toured many museums and gardens on her travels, including the Museum of Glass, the Rochester Eastman Museum, and the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.
Though allergies prevent her from owning one herself, Ms. Leung has an affinity for cats and enjoys playing with her neighbor’s grey tabby. She also enjoys attending cat shows in her free time.
